7A- Testing the Hypothesis

Individuals who have broken bones need to wear a cast which may smell really bad and create a skin infection because the broken bone needs to be stabilized and immobile. Beth Raulerson- In talking with Beth, a pharmaceutical rep, we discussed casts. She said that a lot of people feel the same way about casts but there is not a better solution yet that us cost efficient. When I asked if all cases are the same she quickly responded no. Some casts differ from others, for example fracture casts vs. surgical casts. For that reason, the why part of the discussion would differ from person to person depending on their injury. She also mentioned how the benefits of having a permanent cat that cannot be taken off heavily outweigh the risks such as smell and skin infection. Sam Capitano- In talking with Sam, a middle aged man, I learned that not all people even use cast in the first place. He said how when he broke his wrist, he just wrapped it in tape and never had to use formal cast. I s

6A- Identifying Opportunities in Economic and Regulatory Trends

1) In the New York Times, I saw a article on how Trump is walling off Huawei, the equivalence of the US's Verizon or AT&T. Headlining the business section of the New York Times was this article and it made me think about the opportunity for 5G coming soon. You will be able to download media onto your phone or device almost immediately. A movie would take 3 seconds to download rathe than the 15 minutes it takes in 4G. I believe that 5G will exist in the US because we will always be fighting to be most technologically advanced in the world. Since Trump banned Huawei, the US will have to make their own 5G and catch up with China. Every individual on the grid will benefit from 5G when it comes out. The process of getting 5G will be automatically updated in the software updates of phones. Samsung has already started to use the 5G icon for cell connection even though they don't in fact have 5G yet. Fake it until you make it, right? At least for them, but soon enough 5G will act

5A- Identifying Local Opportunities

1)   Archeologists on Water Street Project Unearth the Old So Vinik Group Can Raise Up the New      https://www.tampabay.com/tampa/archaeologists-on-water-street-project-unearth-the-old-so-vinik-group-can-raise-up-the-new-20190528/ This article is about the findings of potential human remains and premodern era supplies. The Water Street Project is a 2 billion project proposed by Vinik, the owner of the lightening, and Bill Gates. The job is to construct over 10 modern skyscrapers in Downtown Tampa and rejuvenate the city. Tampa is of course a city that was well alive in the past so the findings of the inhabitants of Fort Brooke, a premodern fort in the port of tampa, were bound to happen. The problem  presented in the story is what to do with the remains of the bodies found. Do you leave them in their forever resting spot or remove them and relocate them to better places. The problem lies with the City of Tampa, the architects of the project, and the main financial contributor

4A An Opportunity Belief

I believe that the opportunity for a extremely high skilled real estate team is needed in the Tampa Bay Area. My belief is due to the numerous bad realtors there are in Tampa Bay and how there are minimal large teams. Conducting a real estate transaction takes multiple parties to all come together to sign off on the deal and this can be really difficult on a single agent. There are some teams already put together in the area but none in the way that I plan to do. I have experience working for the team with the most sales in the Tampa Bay area, the Bell-Henderson Team. Even that team though is not broken down how I wish it was. They are just a large group of agents acting as a team but all doing all of the tasks themselves instead of dividing tasks according to the person with the most expertise. The need for this team is ultimately from the individuals buying and selling real estate. They need to be represented by a team who can do what is best in their particular circumstance inste

3A My Entrepreneurship Story

Image
My entrepreneurship story is surrounded around my real estate agent goals. The act of selling real estate itself is just a category of sales, but heading a successful real estate team would make me an entrepreneur. Right now, my family runs a real estate team and is doing pretty well in the Tampa Bay area. My entrepreneurial goals though are to take the base of this team and add on to it. Right now, my family employs 4 sales agents to work in the business. My goal once I take over this company is to add 9 agents and make the ideal sales team. I am currently part of a coaching system under a guy named Craig Proctor. I started in the summer of 2016 and since my imagination of what can be has skyrocketed. Craig Proctor in the past two decades has been in the top ten most producing real estate agents in the United States and Canada. He did so by breaking down a team into subcategories and having agents only specialize in part of the process of conducting real estate instead of everyone

Bugs List 2A

1) The lamp on my desk flickers but it is not the bulb. There must be a shortage of electricity going to this lamp. I do not know if it is the wiring of the lamp itself or not enough power from the wall socket. 2) I went to the store yesterday and it took me longer to get through the checkout line then actually buy find the item.  There was only 3 cashiers working at the time and the lines were at least 5 people deep each. 3) There are some spots in my house that are hot and some areas that are really cold.  The A/C in my house is weakening and some spots it blows out much in some spots doesn't blow nearly as hard. The cold air from the condenser does not make it all the way thru the vents because it does not blow hard enough anymore. 4) I need a fan on me but in a silent room, the fan is way too loud.  The fan motor is too loud. 5) As a real estate agent, I wish there was a way I could automatically tell if someone was actually trying to buy a house or just lookin
